    Författare :Michael Novotny; Staffan Laestadius; Lars Coenen; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Technological and industrial transformation; development block; incumbents; pulp and paper industries; wood-based biorefinery; diverging innovations of non-assembled products; Teknologisk och industriell omvandling; utvecklingsblock; etablerade företag och industrier; massa- och pappersindustrin; vedbaserade bioraffinaderier; divergerande innovationer av icke-sammansatta produkter.; Industriell ekonomi och organisation; Industrial Engineering and Management;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years, the necessity and opportunity for transforming pulp and paper mills into integrative units for large-scale output of biochemicals, biomaterials, and biofuels have come up in discussions of industrial renewal in the Northern hemisphere (mainly in Canada, Sweden and Finland). This transformation is related to technology shifts as well as changing business models based on new bioproducts due to profoundly new market conditions. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Theoretical perspectives on ultrafast and non-linear spectroscopy

    Författare :Emil Vinas Boström; Matematisk fysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Non-linear optics; Ultrafast dynamics; Non-equilibrium Green s functions; Density functional theory; Multi-photon absorption; Second harmonic generation; Desorption dynamics; Auger decay; Charge-separation dynamics; Quantum Zeno effect; Fysicumarkivet A:2018:Vinas Boström;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we discuss a theoretical description of ultrafast and non-linear spectroscopy. Due to the high intensities and ultrashort pulse durations involved in such experiments, it is necessary to use an explicitly time-dependent formalism. LÄS MER
