    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the present thesis was to develop and characterise an age assessment method based on incremental lines in dental cementum using contemporary bovine teeth and teeth from archaeological faunal assemblages.     Sammanfattning : When the last remnant of the Weichsel glacier melted in northern Sweden, around 7000 BC, pioneer settlers entered virgin land, following their prey, which in turn followed the vegetation dispersion. Some of the settlers derived from the east and the northeast and spread from the Russian taiga, through Finland and into northern Sweden, the study area for this thesis. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : In this dissertation the structure, practices and evolution of a single Pitted Ware Culture site, Ajvide on Gotland, is explored and placed within the larger Pitted Ware Culture context.
