    Sammanfattning : Nemertodermatida is a group of microscopic marine worm-like animals that live as part of the marine meiofauna in sandy or muddy sediments; one species lives commensally in a holothurian.     Sammanfattning : This thesis explores cytoskeletal mechanisms involved in the recycling of synaptic vesicles. As an initial step it characterizes synapses formed by giant reticulospinal axons in lamprey and defines their use as a model system.
