Are tracheostomy tubes changed for rational reasons? There is clearly a lack of evidence based research in this field and the clinical guidelines available are often based on local practice. 3. Supporting long-term production development : Towards production platforms
Sammanfattning : With shrinking product life cycles and increasing competitive pressure, the traditional way of developing production systems is becoming obsolete. A longer-term perspective that considers the stream of product realisation projects to be implemented in the production system over its lifetime is required. LÄS MER
4. Hydrodemetallization of Petroleum - Reaction Kinetics, Activity Decay and Long-life Catalysts
Sammanfattning : Hydrodemetallization (HDM) is an indispensable step in industrial catalytic hydroprocessing of residual oils. To develop improved HDM catalysts and reactors, a detailed knowledge of the reaction mechanisms and kinetics, and a good understanding of the mechanisms and process of the catalyst decaying are very important. 5. Long-term effects of acupuncture
Sammanfattning : In a retrospective follow-up study, n=202, long-term pain relief (>6 months) after a course of acupuncture treatments was found mainly among patients with chronic nociceptive pain while patients with neurogenic or psychogenic pain did not benefit much. In a placebo-controlled randomised single-blind long-term study with independent observer of chronic nociceptive low back pain, n=50, it was found that acupuncture, was significantly superior to true placebo in all outcome measurements, even more than 6 months after the treatment series.
