  1. 6. Progesterone metabolites : learning, tolerance, antagonism & metabolism

    Författare :Charlotte Öfverman; Inga-Maj Johansson; Torbjörn Bäckström; Esa Korpi; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; allopregnanolone; isoallopregnanolone; THDOC; learning; tolerance; antagonism; inhibition; patch clamp; Morris water maze; metabolism; epimerization; Obstetrics and gynaecology; Obstetrik och gynekologi; obstetrik och gynekologi; Obstetrics and Gynaecology;

    Sammanfattning : Progesterone metabolites as allopregnanolone, isoallopregnanolone and tetrahydrodeoxy-corticosterone (THDOC) are increased in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, throughout pregnancy and during stress. Allopregnanolone and THDOC are neurosteroids with 3α-hydroxy, 5α-configurations and positive modulating effect on the GABAA receptor. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Robot Skill Acquisition through Prior-Conditioned Reinforcement Learning

    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Reinforcement Learning; Robot Manipulation; Transfer Learning; Safety Constraints; Prior Knowledge Learning;

    Sammanfattning : Advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence have paved the way for autonomous agents to perform complex tasks in various domains. A critical challenge in the field of robotics is enabling robots to acquire and refine skills efficiently, allowing them to adapt and excel in diverse environments. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Methodology for Assessing Learning from Incidents - a Process Industry Perspective

    Författare :Anders Jacobsson; Avdelningen för Brandteknik; []
    Nyckelord :Accidents; Incidents; Learning from incidents; Learning cycle; Lesson learned; Process industry;

    Sammanfattning : Learning from incidents (from minor disturbances to major accidents) is considered one of the most important ways in the process industry to learn from experiences for improving safety performance. Most companies have a formal incident learning system and considerable resources are used for reporting incidents and for utilising these experiences to prevent future incidents. LÄS MER

  4. 9. The Influence of Learning on Naturalization of New Practices -The Case of Robust Design in Product Development

    Sammanfattning : The Influence of Learning on Naturalization of New Practices– the Case of Robust Design in Product DevelopmentAzadeh Fazl MashhadiDepartment of Technology Management and EconomicsDivision of Quality SciencesChalmers University of TechnologyABSTRACTCustomers appreciate a robust product which performs its desired function consistently and independently of the sources of variation during its life cycle. In order to deliver a robust design to customers, the upstream activities during the product development process should proactively support such a result. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Mapping the proteome with data-driven methods: A cycle of measurement, modeling, hypothesis generation, and engineering

    Författare :Filip Buric; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; tensor factorization; mass spectrometry; model interpretation; sequence feature engineering; deep learning; proteomics; machine learning; data-independent acquisition; feature learning;

    Sammanfattning : The living cell exhibits emergence of complex behavior and its modeling requires a systemic, integrative approach if we are to thoroughly understand and harness it. The work in this thesis has had the more narrow aim of quantitatively characterizing and mapping the proteome using data-driven methods, as proteins perform most functional and structural roles within the cell.
