    Författare :Malin Svärd; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Driver adaptation; Driver models; Visual attention; Safety benefit assessment; Evidence accumulatoin; PrARX; Hybrid dynamical systems; ADAS; Predictive processing;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to investigate how human driving behaviors can be formally described in mathematical models intended for online personalization of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) or offline virtual safety evaluations. Both longitudinal (braking) and lateral (steering) behaviors in routine driving and emergencies are addressed. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Data-driven quality management using explainable machine learning and adaptive control limits

    Författare :Niklas Fries; Patrik Rydén; Jun Yu; Rebecka Jörnsten; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; quality management; machine learning; local explanation methods; process adjustment policies; simulation; matematisk statistik; Mathematical Statistics; data science; data science;

    Sammanfattning : In industrial applications, the objective of statistical quality management is to achieve quality guarantees through the efficient and effective application of statistical methods. Historically, quality management has been characterized by a systematic monitoring of critical quality characteristics, accompanied by manual and experience-based root cause analysis in case of an observed decline in quality. 3. 8. On the numerical modelling of impinging jets heat transfer

    Författare :Mirko Bovo; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; heat transfer; Jet; LES; CFD;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis collects two studies on heat transfer in impinging jets and on methods for modeling flows of this kind using CFD. Stationary impinging jets with different nozzle to wall distances (z/D = 2 and 6) and Re (10000, 20000, 23000, 30000) are modeled. Steady-state models capture the important features of heat transfer in these jets. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Energy system perspectives on transport biofuel policies – a modelling analysis

    Författare :Martin Börjesson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []

    Sammanfattning : Climate concerns and energy security issues have in recent years triggered the interest in biofuels for transport. This has resulted in governmental and intergovernmental targets that, if implemented, will lead to an unprecedented growth in biofuel production. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Techno-Economic Perspectives on Biofuel Futures – Modelling Transport Sector Strategies in an Energy System Context

    Författare :Martin Börjesson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; biogas; oil dependence; model; MARKAL; transport; CO2; optimisation; biofuel;

    Sammanfattning : The high oil dependence and the continuous growth of energy use in the transport sector have in recent years triggered interest in transport biofuels as a measure to mitigate climate change andimprove energy security. This work aims to examine techno-economic interactions linked totransport biofuel strategies in national and regional energy systems and their implications for thecost-effective realisation of energy policy objectives.
