16. Metaphors and Norms - Understanding Copyright Law in a Digital Society
Sammanfattning : This is a compilation thesis in the sociology of law, which analyses copyright law in three steps; the legal norms, the social norms and the underlying conceptions in their metaphorical representation. These three steps assist in answering the overarching question: "How do legal and social norms relate to each other in terms of the conceptions from which they emanate or by which they are constructed, and what is the role played by the explicit metaphors that express these norms?" The thesis shows how the development of copyright in Europe, when faced with the digital challenge, has been resiliently path dependent (Infosoc, IPRED and more). LÄS MER
17. Innovation in an urban context
Sammanfattning : The dissertation is based on a collection of papers addressing different aspects of regional innovation systems in an urban context. The overall aim is to find explanatory factors behind the workings of regional innovation systems in urban agglomerations by looking at the innovation dynamics and innovation outcomes of the Oslo region, and secondly, by analysing how two diverse subsets of economic activity in the Oslo region (and other urban agglomerations) are able to exploit a regional innovation system (clustered manufacturing SME's and Knowledge Intensive Business Services (KIBS). Sammanfattning : Den svenska folkmusiken har alltsedan den ”upptäcktes” av akademiker under början av 1800-talet varit behäftad med ett tankegods som genom historien nyttjats för sina syften av såväl höger- som vänsterorienterade politiska rörelser. Då detta av många forskare i flertalet studier redan redovisats, är denna musikpedagogiska avhandlings främsta syfte att undersöka huruvida ideologier med rötter i tysk nyromantik och svensk nygöticism rönt inflytande på hur lärande och tradering över tid gestaltats.
