11. Mass Transport Properties in Supramolecular Systems Studied by Diffusion and Relaxation NMR
Sammanfattning : This thesis shows how diffusion and relaxation NMR can be applied in various aspects to study mass transport in supramolecular systems. Information about these systems can be obtained, either by direct measurement of the molecules that are incorporated in a supramolecular structure, or via probe molecules, which indirectly gives information about the system. 12. Brownian Relaxation Measurements of Magnetic Nanoparticles: Towards the Development of a Novel Biosensor System
Sammanfattning : Magnetic measurements of the Brownian relaxation time of thermally blocked magnetic nanoparticles dispersed in a solution have been performed in order to determine the hydrodynamic size distribution of the particles. By measuring changes in the hydrodynamic size of the particles, the ammount of analytes attached to the surface of particles can be determined. LÄS MER
13. Determining and Optimizing the Current and Magnetic Field Dependence of Spin-Torque and Spin Hall Nano-Oscillators : Toward Next-Generation Nanoelectronic Devices and Systems
Sammanfattning : Spin-torque and spin Hall nano-oscillators are nanoscale devices (about 100 nm) capable of producing tunable broadband high-frequency microwave signals ranging from 0.1 GHz to over 65 GHz that several research groups trying to reach up to 200 - 300 GHz. LÄS MER
14. Aspects on measuring electrical current utilizing magnetic zero-flux technique
Sammanfattning : The utilization of high accuracy measurements of electrical quantities is a prerequisite for the development of modern society. Generally, measurements serve different purposes and hence the criteria for the measurement equipment and method are different. LÄS MER
15. Very preterm birth and fetal growth restriction in adolescence - Cardiovascular and renal aspects
Sammanfattning : This thesis applied magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to investigate to what extent very preterm birth due to early onset fetal growth restriction (FGR) impacts the cardiovascular system and kidneys in adolescence. The thesis further investigated whether FGR exacerbates the organ-specific effects of very preterm birth. LÄS MER
