16. Effect of water contamination on the diffused content of hydrogen under stress in AISI-52100 bearing steel
Sammanfattning : Abstract Hydrogen embrittlement is a degradation process of mechanical/tribological properties (toughness, wear etc.) of mating steel surfaces. This is caused by the presence and interaction of hydrogen with applied stresses. Therefore, it is important to quantify the hydrogen content which could be dissolved under applied stresses in steel. 17. Toward Accident Prevention Through Machine Learning Analysis of Accident Reports
Sammanfattning : Occupational safety remains of interest in the construction sector. The frequency of accidents has decreased in Sweden but only to a level that remains constant over the last ten years. LÄS MER
18. Integration of database technology and multibody system analysis
Sammanfattning : The design process includes many different activities inwhich various computational mechanics tools are used forbehaviour modelling of mechanical systems and their buildingblocks, e.g. machine elements. These tools usually supportlarge and complex models and they produce large quantities ofdata with a high degree of complexity. LÄS MER
19. Attenuation of hand-held machine vibrations. Application of non-linear tuned vibration absorber
Sammanfattning : Vibration injury in the hand-arm system from vibrating hand-held machines is one of the most common occupational health injuries and causes severe and often chronic nerve and vascular injuries to the operator. The objective with this study is to contribute to reduce hand-arm vibration injuries, first by developing methods of redesigning machines that will lower their vibration level and second to study how high frequency vibrations (HFV) above 1250 Hz effect the finger tissue which are not included in the current standard for risk evaluation. 20. Studies of the fibre direction and local bending stiffness of Norway spruce timber : for application on machine strength grading
Sammanfattning : Machine strength grading is a production process in the sawmill industry used to grade sawn timber boards into different strength classes with specific characteristic values of the bending strength, modulus of elasticity (MOE) and density. These properties are called grade determining properties. LÄS MER
