    Sammanfattning : In early postcolonial Burma, a number of so-called royal esoteric associations with a millenarian and eschatological orientation, and founded by persons believed to be the world emperor, emerged in response to political turmoil, nation-building projects, modernization, and after-effects of colonialism. These Theravāda Buddhist esoteric congregations, revivalist and innovative at the same time, were indicative of a general crisis of authority and identity. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The dissertation deals with the mid-twentieth century development of regulated religious life in the Church of Sweden and how this was expressed in the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary of the Evangelical Way of Mary. It focuses on the foundress’ spirituality and the importance of this for the shaping of monastic life, as well as on the significance of mystic and prophetic experience for that spirituality.     Sammanfattning : The Holocaust is an event that lives on in societies’ consciousness in the form of memorial monuments and museums, and is processed by research institutions and authorities. My own journey began when meeting upper secondary students who denied the Holocaust, and I soon came in contact with a group who identify themselves as Third Generation Survivors; grandchildren of those who survived the Holocaust.     Sammanfattning : Using methods of Cultural Mapping, Scandinavian Pentecostal publications and archival sources were examined regarding mission. Working toward “Apostolic Mission,” in addition to biblical texts Pentecostals used models adapted from the Pietist, Methodist, Baptist and especially the Holiness Revivals. LÄS MER
