    Sammanfattning : Introduction: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the fourth most common cancer worldwide and strikes both sexes. The age-adjusted 5-year survival in Sweden was 60% in the early 21 st century. Approximately 50% of patients are anaemic at the time of diagnosis.
