  1. 1. Att utmana erfarenheter : Kunskapsutveckling i en forskningscirkel

    Författare :Fia Andersson; Gunilla Härnsten; Britta Wingård; Jerry Rosenqvist; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Bilingual; multilingual; autism; Asperger´s syndrome; Special educational needs; Participatory Action Research; Research circles; Education; Pedagogik; pedagogik; Education;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims at describing and analysing the process and content in knowledge development within a research circle. The participants in this circle are seven teachers who work with multilingual children diagnosed within the autism spectrum, and me as a researcher.The study is conducted within the tradition of participatory-oriented research. 2. 2. Functional Traits in Sphagnum

    Författare :Fia Bengtsson; Håkan Rydin; Gustaf Granath; Cronberg Nils; Sari Juutinen; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; peat mosses; functional traits; NPP; decay resistance; N2 fixation; desiccation resistance; climate; Biology with specialization in Ecological Botany; Biologi med inriktning mot ekologisk botanik;

    Sammanfattning : Peat mosses (Sphagnum) are ecosystem engineers that largely govern carbon sequestration in northern hemisphere peatlands. I investigated functional traits in Sphagnum species and addressed the questions: (I) Are growth, photosynthesis and decomposition and the trade-offs between these traits related to habitat or phylogeny?, (II) Which are the determinants of decomposition and are there trade-offs between metabolites that affect decomposition?, (III) How do macro-climate and local environment determine growth in Sphagnum across the Holarctic?, (IV) How does N2 fixation vary among different species and habitats?, (V) How do species from different microtopographic niches avoid or tolerate desiccation, and are leaf and structural traits adaptations to growth high above the water table?Photosynthetic rate and decomposition in laboratory conditions (innate growth and decay resistance) were related to growth and decomposition in their natural habitats. 3. 3. Anabolic Androgenic Steroids and Criminality

    Författare :Fia Klötz; Ingemar Thiblin; Niklas Långström; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Psychiatry; Anabolic steroids; Violence; Crime; Substance abuse; Psykiatri;

    Sammanfattning : Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) have been associated with adverse psychiatric effects, aggression and violent behaviour. The use of them has spread to a larger subpopulation, and the use has been connected to different risk behaviours, such as use of other illicit substances and carrying a gun. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Historically and traditionally, military work has been closely associated with men. However, the post-Cold War normalization process has brought about a transformation in both the Swedish Armed Forces themselves and the perception of the organization. LÄS MER
