Sammanfattning : A project to construct a high-speed road deflection tester was initiated in the 1991. A mid-sized truck was used as a carrier for the first prototype. Sammanfattning : En undersökning av de svenska prästkandidaterna i slutet av 1970-talet visar att prästbarnen har minskat i omfång men att präster generellt sett rekryteras mer socialt brett än vid jämförbara långa akademiska utbildningar. Studien visar att det finns en spänning inom den föreställda yrkesrollen mellan en förlänad och en förvärvad syn på yrkesrollen, den s k spänningen inom prästrollens L-struktur. LÄS MER
4. Suspended Value : Using Coins as Pendants in Viking-Age Scandinavia (c. AD 800–1140)
Sammanfattning : The use of coins as pendants is a common practice in the Scandinavian Viking Age (c. AD 800–1140). About three per cent of the coins circulating in Scandinavia show signs of having been adapted for suspension, either with a small hole or a loop. 5. Kalaureia 1894 : A Cultural History of the First Swedish Excavation in Greece
Sammanfattning : The excavation of the Sanctuary of Poseidon at Kalaureia in 1894 marks the beginning of Swedish archaeological fieldwork in Greece. During a couple of hot summer months, two philologists from Uppsala University, Sam Wide (1861-1918) and Lennart Kjellberg (1857-1936), worked in the sanctuary together with the architect Sven Kristenson (1858-1937), the Greek foreman Pankalos and around twenty local workmen.
