11. High-Temperature Radio Circuits in Silicon Carbide Bipolar Technology
Sammanfattning : High-temperature electronics find many niche applications in downhole drilling, aviation, automotive and future exploration of inner planets like Venus and Mercury. Past studies have shown the potential of silicon carbide (SiC) electronics for catering these extreme temperature applications. LÄS MER
12. Nonlinear optimization approaches to H2-norm based LPV modelling and control
Sammanfattning : To be able to analyze certain classes of non-linear systems, it is necessary to try to represent them as linear parameter varying systems or even as linear fractional representations. For linear parameter varying systems and linear fractional representations of systems there exists many advanced analysis methods such as IQC-analysis and μ-analysis. LÄS MER
13. On Generation and Recombination in Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Thin-Film Solar Cells
Sammanfattning : The solar cell technology based on Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) thin-films provides a promising route to cost competitive solar electricity. The standard device structure is ZnO:Al/ZnO/CdS/CIGS/Mo films on a glass substrate, where the first three layers are n-type semiconductors with wide bandgaps, forming a pn-junction with the p-type CIGS absorber layer; the Mo layer serves as a back contact. 14. Non-Linear System Identification with Neural Networks
Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the non-linear system identification problem, and in particular, investigates the use of neural networks in system identification. An overview of different possible mode! structures is given in a common framework. LÄS MER
15. Resitive FET Mixers
Sammanfattning : This thesis presents theory, device models and circuits related to resistive FET mixers: A wave analysis for resistive mixers The analysis gives an intuitive estimate of resistive mixer performance when most parameters are unknown. It is based on the assumption that all mixing terms generated in the mixer are terminated with the same impedance. LÄS MER
