Trismus is defined as a limitation in the mouth/jaw-opening ability due to a reduced mandible mobility. A Maximal Interincisal Opening, (MIO) ≤ 35mm is often used as the cut-off point for trismus.     Sammanfattning : Despite surgical intervention, orbital floor fractures are associated with risks of persisting sensibility disturbances, enophthalmos and diplopia. Cheek asymmetry and trismus may result when the zygoma is dislocated. In evaluating the surgical results patients’ experiences of the outcomes have to be investigated. LÄS MER
