  1. 6. Climate change frames and frame formation : An analysis of climate change communication in the Swedish agricultural sector

    Författare :Therese Asplund; Victoria Wibeck; Mattias Hjerpe; Knut H. Sørensen; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Climate change communication; frame analysis; Swedish agriculture; farm magazines; focus groups; Klimatförändringar; kommunikation; frame analys; Svenskt lantbruk; lantbrukstidningar; fokusgrupper;

    Sammanfattning : While previous research into understandings of climate change has usually examined general public perceptions and mainstream media representations, this thesis offers an audience-specific departure point by analysing climate change frames and frame formation in Swedish agriculture. The empirical material consists of Swedish farm magazines’ reporting on climate change, as well as eight focus group discussions among Swedish farmers on the topic of climate change and climate change information. 2. 7. Designing the Design Organisation: Client-consultant coordination in a large infrastructure project

    Författare :Therese Eriksson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; organisational heuristics; infrastructure; project routines; practice approach; megaprojects; public projects; organisational routines; coordination;

    Sammanfattning : Large infrastructure projects are unique and last for a long time, but they are still temporary organisations. The technology involved is often complex, and the uncertainty is high. Managing such projects and coordinating all the actors involved is a complicated task for both suppliers and clients. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Making sense digitally : Conversational coherence in online and mixed-mode contexts

    Författare :Therese Örnberg Berglund; Patrik Svensson; Mathias Broth; Elizabeth Keating; Umeå universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : Successful interaction makes sense to its participants – it is, in other words, coherent. As different resources are employed to indicate mutual orientation by showing which actions are linked and where attention is paid, coherent conversation can be said to be achieved multimodally. 4. 9. Make It Easier : A psychological perspective on sustainable behavior change

    Författare :Noah Linder; Stephan Barthel; Therese Lindahl; Robert Ljung; Patrik Sörqvist; Janne Hukkinen; Högskolan i Gävle; []

    Sammanfattning : Human behavior is the cause of most environmental challenges we face today, and widespread behavioral change is urgently needed across actors and scales. Even though the public perception of the current ecological crisis has changed drastically in recent decades, a corresponding shift in behavior is lacking — unfortunately, mere belief in climate change is a poor predictor of taking action. 5. 10. Organising the Early Design Phase in a Large Infrastructure Project

    Författare :Therese Eriksson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Large physical infrastructure projects are complex, lengthy endeavours usually initiated on a political level and managed by public clients. Many important decisions are made in early design phases, when the knowledge of numerous technical specialists is integrated to balance cost, quality and scope over the whole project lifecycle.
