Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the rise, during the first half of this century, of the centrally organized co-operation between the principal actors on the Swedish labour market - Landsorganisationen, LO (The Swedish Trade Union Confederation) and Svenska Arbetsgivareforeningen, SAF ( The Swedish Employers' Confederation). This cooperation forms the core of what has later been called "The Swedish Model" - a partly formalized partly informal "constitution" regulating the relations between Labour, Capital and Government in Sweden.
