    Sammanfattning : Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is an effective surgical treatment for neurological diseases such as essential tremor, Parkinsonʹs disease (PD) and dystonia. DBS has so far been used in more than 70 000 patients with movement disorders, and is currently in trial for intractable Gilles de la Tourette’s syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorders, depression, and epilepsy.     Sammanfattning : Acute myocardial infarction is the consequence of an occluded nutrient coronary artery. Reperfusion reduces infarct size and enhances the rate of survival. But reperfusion may also, in itself, cause reversible injury, stunning and arrhythmias, as well as irreversible lethal reperfusion injury. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Introduction: Occupational drivers of terrain vehicles are exposed to several risk factors associated with musculoskeletal symptoms in the lower back as well as in the neck and upper limbs. Vibration has been suggested to be a main risk factor. These drivers are exposed to both whole-body vibration (WBV) and hand-arm vibration (HAV). LÄS MER
