11. Leukemia Initiation in MLL-ENL Mediated Leukemogenesis
Sammanfattning : In the blood system, knowledge on the regulation of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and their immature progeny has provided roadmaps of differentiation. Such information can also have a value to understand the etiology of hematological cancers, since clinical heterogeneity and prognostic therapeutic outcomes have been proposed to associate with the specific developmental stage from which the transformed cells originate. 12. Clinical Aspects of Screening Detected Celiac Disease among 12-year-olds

13. Intestinal mucins 'soluble and insoluble problems'
Sammanfattning : Highly glycosylated glycoproteins – mucins – are the major constituents of the mucus layer and glycocalyx that cover mucosal surfaces. Twelve human mucin genes have been identified, and the mucins may be divided into those that are membraneassociated and those that are secreted. LÄS MER
14. High Confidence Network Predictions from Big Biological Data
Sammanfattning : Biology functions in a most intriguing fashion, with human cells being regulated by multiplex networks of proteins and their dependent systems that control everything from proliferation to cell death. Notably, there are cases when these networks fail to function properly. LÄS MER
15. Patrullerande polisers yrkeskultur
Sammanfattning : Using ethnographical methods, this thesis examines the prevalence and character of an occupational culture among patrolling police in terms of frames of reference, conduct and attitudes, a culture which overrides or is in opposition to the official mandate of the police force. It is suggested that the occupational culture of the patrolling police should not be regarded as a homogenous culture but be seen as describing a continuum from a legalistic to a more autonomous perspective.
