32. A robust text processing technique applied to lexical error recovery
Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses automatic lexical error recovery and tokenization of corrupt text input. We propose a technique that can automatically correct misspellings, segmentation errors and real-word errors in a unified framework that uses both a model of language production and a model of the typing behavior, and which makes tokenization part of the recovery process. 33. Maximally Supersymmetric Models in Four and Six Dimensions
Sammanfattning : We consider two examples of maximally supersymmetric models; the N=4 Yang-Mills theory in four dimensions and the (2,0) theory in six dimensions. 34. The (γ,p) reaction in 16O and 18O at Eγ=50 - 70 MeV
Sammanfattning : A measurement of the reactions 16O(γ,p)15N and 18O(γ,p)17N have been made with tagged photons in the energy range Eγ ≈ 50 – 70 MeV. The protons have been detected in ΔE-E telescopes with silicon strip detectors as ΔE detectors and HPGe crystals as E detectors. LÄS MER
35. Few particle effects in pyramidal quantum dots - a spectroscopic study
Sammanfattning : In this thesis two very similar processes have been studied, both involving excitations of particles during recombination of exciton complexes in quantum dots, reducing the energy of the emitted photon. Different exciton complexes are defined according to the number of electrons and holes in the quantum dot upon recombination. LÄS MER
