    Sammanfattning : Tin oxide films were made by reactive rf magnetron sputtering under conditions that led to both electronic and ionic conductivity. It was found that a high sputter pressure promoted porosity and a high charge capacity. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Thin films of tin doped indium oxide (ITO) were prepared by two different methods: by sputter deposition with silver additive and by spin coating of a nanoparticle dispersion.ITO films doped with ≤ 20 at% of silver were prepared either as homogenous blends of ITO and silver or as intermixed layers.     Sammanfattning : Electrochromic iridium oxide (IrOx) and iridium-tantalum oxide (IrTaOx) thin films were prepared by reactive magnetron sputtering. Composition, density, and structure were determined using Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and electron energy loss spectroscopy.     Sammanfattning : Artificial opals are self-assembled face centered cubic (fcc) structures of  spherically shaped beads, which interesting applications as photonic band gap materials.     Sammanfattning : Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), working at high temperatures with an incomplete fuel oxidation process, have become an interesting candidate for combination with conventional power generation technology, such as gas turbines, in order to develop power plants that are both functional and efficient.
