  1. 6. Large-Signal Modeling of Microwave Transistors

    Författare :Lars Bengtsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; large-signal; HEMT; non-linear models; de-embedding; high-efficiency; class-E amplifier; LDMOS; HBT; HFET; model parameter extraction; microwave transistors;

    Sammanfattning : The development of computer aided design tools for microwave circuit design has increased the interest for accurate transistor models. The circuit complexity has grown as the CAD tools have been improved and the need to predict how non-linear circuits behave has also been increased. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Prerequisites for Efficient Programming of RFID Inlays in Reactive Near Field

    Författare :Markus Frank; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; FOM; RNF; RFID; UHF.; Source Impedance Shift; DTLL; Phase compensation;

    Sammanfattning : The electromagnetically isolated programming of unique user IDs, into the transponder memory of UHF RFID inlays, is essential for successful operation in the RFID inventory process. Bar code printers enabled for RFID represent a typical environment of such programming. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Gap waveguide for packaging microstrip filters & investigation of transitions from planar technologies to ridge gap waveguide

    Författare :Astrid Algaba Brazalez; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; parallel plate mode; coupled line filter; microstrip circuit; packaging; Artificial magnetic conductor AMC ; perfect magnetic conductor PMC ; gap waveguide; transition.; coplanar waveguide CPW ;

    Sammanfattning : Gap waveguide technology has proved to constitute an effective alternative for the design of microwave passive components, due to its advantages with respect to traditional planar technologies and standard waveguides. There is no requirement for conductive contact between the two different metal pieces making up a gap waveguide prototype, since one of these pieces makes use of a textured surface that eliminates any possible leakage of the field through the gap to the surface of the other metal piece above it. 4. 9. Time-Domain Antenna and Scattering Analysis for Micro- and Millimeter-Wave Applications

    Författare :Iman Vakili; Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Telecommunications industries are investing tremendously to meet the ever-increasing demands for higher data rates and capacity. In particular to develop standardization for 5G, which is expected around 2020. The existing spectrum for traditional mobile networks is limited to highly occupied bands at microwave frequencies below 6 GHz. LÄS MER
