    Sammanfattning : In this dissertation I have sought to test the possibility of recreating a detailed picture of an individual medieval person, tracing the Danish archbishop Absalon's own world of thought and action through those surviving sources that he has left behind. The sources are both written and material, and they include the cloister church in Sorø, the Havn Castle, the Medieval history Gesta Danorum, the rune stone and church in Norra Åsum and Absalon's testament.     Sammanfattning : One of the defining features of contemporary zeitgeist is that we live in an era of mediatization – a metaprocess, through (and by) which all everyday relations increasingly depend on networked media technologies and online communication channels.Due to rapid developments in digital electronics, all these Internet- or mobile-enabled platforms, and devices, are prone to the processes of quantification and datafication, and as such, surveillance is a principal dimension that lies at the core of mediatization. Den här avhandlingen spårar det temat genom tre genrer i den svenska litteraturen, från sextiotalet och framåt: den självbiografiska barndomsskildringen, reseskildringen och science fiction-romanen.     Sammanfattning : Strategic communication has long suffered from a reputation of immorality, often being conflated with derogatory terms such as sophistry and propaganda. Scholars in the social sciences have been trained to accept this moralizing idea of strategic communication as a normative point of departure, through influential theories such as Habermas’ discourse ethics and methodological approaches such as critical discourse analysis.
