    Sammanfattning : Nicotine and amphetamines are the most widely abused stimulants. The main aim of the studies in this thesis was to investigate how these two drugs of abuse affect distinct regions of the rat brain involved in development of habitual and compulsive behavior, namely subregions of striatum in the rat.     Sammanfattning : Background Animal models can be used to mimic human conditions of psychopathology, and also as pre-clinical models to evaluate candidate drugs.     Sammanfattning : This doctoral artistic research project addresses the possibility of a dance withdrawn from that neoliberal scheme accordingto which self-performance, entrepreneurship and the production of subjectivity rule.
