6. Submerged Transmission in Wave Energy Converters : Full Scale In-Situ Experimental Measurements
Sammanfattning : Different wave power technologies are in development around the world in different stages of prototype testing. So far only a few devices have been deployed offshore at full scale for extended periods of time. Little data is published about how these different devices perform. LÄS MER
7. Dry Clutch Modeling, Estimation, and Control
Sammanfattning : Increasing demands on comfort, performance, and fuel efficiency in vehicles lead to more complex transmission solutions. One such solution is the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). It works just like an ordinary manual transmission but the clutch and the gear selection are computer controlled. LÄS MER
8. Modeling and Estimation for Dry Clutch Control
Sammanfattning : Increasing demands on comfort, performance, and fuel efficiency in vehicles lead to more complex transmission solutions. One such solution is the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). It works just like an ordinary manual transmission but the clutch and gear selection are computer controlled. LÄS MER
9. Tracking Wild Boar and Hunters : Osteology of Wild Boar in Mesolithic South Scandinavia
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the hunting of wild boar during the Mesolithic in South Scandinavia and the relationship between humans and wild game. The study is based on an analysis of osteological remains from sites in Scania, Sweden, dating from the Late Maglemose Culture to the Early Ertebølle Culture. LÄS MER
10. Traffic-related pollutants in urban snow : Concentrations, size fractionation, and release with snowmelt
Sammanfattning : In urban areas with seasonal snow, traffic-related pollutants such as solid particles, metals, chloride, organic pollutants, and microplastics (MPs) can be temporarily stored in snowbanks along roads and streets. When the snow melts, it releases the accumulated pollutants and the resulting snowmelt with diverse pollutants may partly infiltrate into the ground, or enter storm sewers and eventually be discharged into, and impact on, the receiving waters.
