    Sammanfattning : There is a lack of attention toward the diversity in experiences of architecture that are expressed through walking. Through the application of autoethnography and critical perspectives of queer and feminist theory, this dissertation develops a method for investigating experiences of architecture in regard to the activity of walking.     Sammanfattning : In Sweden approximately 25000 distal radius fractures occur annually, which is 37 % of all fractures related to osteoporosis. In this thesis, risk factors for osteoporosis, bone mineral density (BMD) and health-related quality of life (the SF-36) were compared in patients who suffered a distal radius fracture after low energy trauma with a control group matched on the basis of age, gender, and municipality of residence.     Sammanfattning : ABSTRACTAIM: The overall aim of this longitudinal PhD project was to gain increased knowledge about factors associated with fear of falling (FOF) falls and near falls, as well as to contribute to improved clinical fall prediction for peoplewith mild Parkinson’s disease (PD).METHODS: People diagnosed with PD and receiving care at the university hospital outpatient neurology clinic were assessed during the “on” phase using a broad range of rating scales and clinical tests targeting balance and gait problems as well as motor and non-motor symptoms.
