2. New aspects on timing and graft morbidity in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to investigate the effect of different surgical techniques on knee function and outcomes after an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction (ACLR). In Study I, 70 patients with a Tegner level of six or more were assessed after randomisation between acute ACLR (within 8 days after the injury) and delayed ACLR (after normalised range of motion [ROM] 6–10 weeks after the injury) using a four-strand semitendinosus tendon graft. 4. Ekologisk mat och psykisk hälsa : unga vuxnas existentiella relation till mat som strategi för välbefinnande
Sammanfattning : Med utgångspunkt i eko-psykologin och ett livsvärldsfenomologiskt perspektiv beskrivs unga vuxnas val av ekologisk mat som en naturbaserad form av självterapeutisk intervention för att förbättra psykisk hälsa. Syftet med undersökningen var att försöka förstå hur unga vuxna aktivt använder relationen mellan kropp och mat i vardagen som del av en strategi för att uppnå välbefinnande och bättre hantera existentiella problem och ängslan inför framtiden. 5. In the gap between legality and legitimacy : illegal hunting in Sweden as a crime of dissent
Sammanfattning : It may be challenging to see how illegal hunting, a crime that ostensibly proceeds as shoot, shovel and shut up in remote rural communities, at all communicates with the regime. Examining the socio-legal interplay between hunters and state regulation, however, clarifies illegal hunting to be part of a politically motivated pattern of dissent that signals hunters’ disenfranchisement from the polity.
