1. Convolutional Network Representation for Visual Recognition
Sammanfattning : Image representation is a key component in visual recognition systems. In visual recognition problem, the solution or the model should be able to learn and infer the quality of certain visual semantics in the image. LÄS MER
2. Visual Storytelling Interacting in School : Learning Conditions in the Social Science Classroom
Sammanfattning : The aim of this compilation thesis is to understand how technology for visual storytelling can be shaped and used in relation to social science education in primary school, but also how social dimensions, technical and other matters create emerging learning conditions in such an educational setting. The visual storytelling technology introduced and used in the study is ‘the Statistics eXplorer platform, a geovisual analytics. LÄS MER
3. Biologically-Based Interactive Neural Network Models for Visual Attention and Object Recognition
Sammanfattning : The main focus of this thesis is to develop biologically-based computational models for object recognition. A series of models for attention and object recognition were developed in the order of increasing functionality and complexity. LÄS MER
4. Dynamic Visual Learning
Sammanfattning : Autonomous robots act in a \emph{dynamic} world where both the robots and other objects may move. The surround sensing systems of said robots therefore work with dynamic input data and need to estimate both the current state of the environment as well as its dynamics. LÄS MER
5. Antiken som ideal : Det antikiserande inredningsmåleriet och dess sociala funktioner i högreståndsmiljöer i Dalarna och Gästrikland 1791-1818
