  1. 16. Structure-acoustic analysis; finite element modelling and reduction methods

    Författare :Peter Davidsson; Byggnadsmekanik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mechanical engineering; hydraulics; vacuum technology; vibration and acoustic engineering; Maskinteknik; hydraulik; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik; low frequency range; building acoustics; lightweight structures; porous materials; modal reduction; substructuring; finite element analysis; structural acoustics; vibroacoustics; Structural dynamics;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates structure-acoustic systems by use of finite element analysis. The systems studied here are limited to those that consist of an enclosed acoustic fluid cavity, which is coupled to a flexible structure and/or a porous sound absorbing material domain. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Drum sound from floor coverings - objective and subjective assessment

    Författare :Ann-Charlotte Johansson; Teknisk akustik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik; hydraulik; Maskinteknik; vacuum technology; vibration and acoustic engineering; hydraulics; acoustic standard; Mechanical engineering; tapping machine; veneer flooring; parquet flooring; binaural recording; foot impact; loudness; sound quality; listening test; paired comparisons; walking sound; drum sound; building acoustics; psychoacoustics; laminate flooring;

    Sammanfattning : Drum sound is the sound produced when an object, such as a foot, hits the flooring in the room in which the receiving ear is located. Drum sound has attracted interest in recent years, particularly due to an increased use of thin floating floor constructions, such as veneer or laminate flooring, which can produce loud and sharp walking sound. 3. 18. Numerical Simulations of Turbulent Flows at Widely Different Mach Numbers

    Författare :Dragos Moroianu; Strömningsteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; vibration and acoustic engineering; Maskinteknik; hydraulics; vacuum technology; Mechanical engineering; plasma; Energy research; Energiforskning; fluiddynamik; plasmas; Gaser; fluid dynamics; Gases; computational fluid dynamics; Acoustic; hydraulik; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik; compressible flow;

    Sammanfattning : The present thesis mainly focuses on the numerical simulation of the turbulent flow field and acoustics developed in different industrial applications. The study covers a large range of Mach numbers, starting from incompressible regimes and ending with a fully compressible flow. LÄS MER

  4. 19. On Premixed Gas Fuelled Stirling Engine Combustors with Combustion Gas Recirculation

    Författare :Magnus Pålsson; Förbränningsmotorer; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; vibration and acoustic engineering; Maskinteknik; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik; Motors and propulsion systems; Motorer; framdrivningssystem; hydraulik; Mechanical engineering; hydraulics; vacuum technology; termodynamik; Termisk teknik; applied thermodynamics; Thermal engineering; heat pipe; ejector; solar energy; CGR; recirculation; EGR; catalytic combustion; premix combustion; Stirling engine; combustor;

    Sammanfattning : The main objective in the research described in this thesis was to design and test the use of lean premixed combustion using combustion gas recirculation for gas fuelled Stirling engine combustors. A system using a flame-arrester type of flame-holder to stabilize the flame and an ejector system for the recirculation of combustion gas was designed and tested in the laboratory. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Granulation and recycling of polymers

    Författare :Toni Reftman; Industriell Produktion; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; materialteknik; Materiallära; Material technology; akustik; vibrationer; vakuumteknik; granulation; granulators; recycling; size reduction; cutting resistance; hydraulics; Mechanical engineering; vacuum technology; vibration and acoustic engineering; hydraulik; Maskinteknik; Polymer technology; biopolymers; Polymerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The use of polymers and composite materials based on polymer matrix systems increases. With this raise the demands on recycling of both post-consumer and in house based material increase. The demands on the recycling process also increase. The reason is that the process more often has to be a part of the conventional production line. LÄS MER
