Several technologies are reviewed, focusing on their effects on aroma and color, with the goal of providing an overview of various technological strategies developed for improving the quality of aromatic herbs for industrial drying. Due to a diversity of clinical and practical situations, there are limitations of these methods, creating the necessity to develop further solutions, and there is also a lack of knowledge on the effect of recent gonadotoxic cancer treatment in the ovarian potential.
