Sammanfattning : The dissertation examines a prevalent problem in reception studies: how can we actually observe and describe the text (defined as an element that enables and restricts reading experiences) as either given and transcendent to any reading practice or as uniquely produced in each reading? The author tries to find a solution by aid of Wittgenstein's philosophy of language, Kenneth Burke's socio-rhetorics and Niklas Luhmann's systems theory. These perspectives are discussed in turn and tested in readings of a few pages on Mayakovsky and futurism taken from a textbook. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The overarching aim of this thesis is to explore preschool children’s participation in and creation of self-organized joint activities (henceforth activities) in a Swedish preschool with a focus on how children’s everyday activities (initiated by children) are produced sequentially in time. The theoretical framework of the study is taken from childhood sociology (Corsaro, 2011), ethnomethodology (Garfinkel, 1967) and conversation analysis (Schegloff, 2007) and targets the production of children’s activities from beginning to end. Sammanfattning : The purpose of the present thesis was to test and contrast hypotheses about the cognitive conditions that support the development of mathematical learning disability (MLD). Sammanfattning : This thesis describes and explores some of the learning factors involved for language and literacy acquisition for different groups of children with learning disabilities. The theoretical framework is based upon the Rare Event Learning Model that tries to specify all the transactional factors involved (cognitive, emotional and interactional) when learning takes place.
