    Sammanfattning : Fibrin accumulation is a common fmding in many pathological conditions, such as in inflammatory processes, e.g. in the lungs in pneumonia or pulmonary insufficiency after sepsis.     Sammanfattning : Increased plasma concentrations of endothelin-1 (ET-1) and of its propeptide big endothelin-1 have been reported in diseases associated with endothelial dysfunction, cardiovascular remodelling and insulin resistance.
