21. An employeeship model and its relation to psychological climate : A study of congruence in the behavior of leaders and followers
Sammanfattning : This doctoral dissertation was driven by an inspiration to study how employees behave toward each other from an interactive perspective where all members of an organization are considered active contributors. Employeeship holds this perspective and acknowledges the importance of productive relationships. LÄS MER
22. Evaluation of forecasting techniques and forecast errors : with focus on intermittent demand
Sammanfattning : To decide in advance the amount of resources that is required next week or next month can be both a complicated and hazardous task depending on the situation, despite the known time frame when the resources are needed. Intermittent demand, or slow-moving demand, that is when there are time periods without demand and then suddenly a time period with demand, becomes even more difficult to forecast. LÄS MER
24. Development of Transient Flamelet Library Based Combustion Models
Sammanfattning : Three different methods for Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes computational fluid dynamics modeling of non-premixed ignition and combustion using tabulated chemistry have been developed. All methods make use of flamelet libraries, where the flamelet auto-ignition process is parameterized using a progress variable. LÄS MER
25. Learning from Interactions : Forward and Inverse Decision-Making for Autonomous Dynamical Systems
Sammanfattning : Decision-making is the mechanism of using available information to generate solutions to given problems by forming preferences, beliefs, and selecting courses of action amongst several alternatives. In this thesis, we study the mechanisms that generate behavior (the forward problem) and how their characteristics can explain observed behavior (the inverse problem). LÄS MER
