   Sammanfattning : This thesis employed an integrated approach and investigated intra- and inter-individual differences relevant for normally hearing (NH) and hearing-impaired (HI) adults in native (Swedish) and non-native (English) languages in adverse listening conditions.    Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka och analysera en flerspråkig förskolas didaktik, för att bidra med kunskap om de didaktiska frågorna i förhållande till uppdraget att arbeta interkulturellt. De frågor jag ställt är: • Vad är pedagogernas uppfattning om den egna förskolans innehåll och arbetssätt? • Hur framträder den didaktiska vad-frågan i en flerspråkig förskolas olika kontexter? • Hur framträder den didaktiska hur-frågan i en flerspråkig förskolas olika kontexter? • Kan man utläsa variationen i barnens bakgrunder i de didaktiska valen och i så fall hur? Studien är en fallstudie gjord på en flerspråkig förskola, där en majoritet av barnen har ett annat modersmål än svenska. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : Language Processing and Contextual Influence A Study of Swedish Preschool Children with Language Impairment The aim of the present work was to study different types of contextual influence on language performance in a variety of tasks: repetition of nonwords, narration, understanding of idioms and picture naming in a group of Swedish preschool children with language impairment (LI). The stress pattern of words and nonwords was found to have an impact on the repetition performance of the participants. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : The central issue is to increase knowledge of women's and men's mental wellbeing when their child is about to be born, as seen from four aspects relevant to maternity and child health care centres. Major psychological theories are the attachment theory and the affect theory, health psychology with theories on nervous tension, vulnerability, coping and individual resources, clinical psychology to understand mental divergencies, crisis theory to understand reactions, taking the individual's subjective experience and personal definitions of reactions and needs into consideration.
