Sammanfattning : The thesis includes five separate studies concerned mainly with psychosocial aspects of the problems that athletes afflicted with long-term sport injuries face. The first study deals with relationships between personality variables, coping strategies and mood-levels, both in athletes participating in competitive sports and in a non-athlete reference groups. Sammanfattning : The thesis analyzes the everyday life of women and men in a neighbourhood planned for low-income housing in the ourskirts of the capital San José in Costa Rica. Sammanfattning : The expanding use of inhaled and intranasal glucocorticoid (Gc) preparations for treatment of mildto-moderate asthma and allergic rhinitis has in the last decade greatly increased the number of adults and children chronically exposed to exogenous glucocorticoids. In general, current topical glucocorticoid therapies appear to be well tolerated. LÄS MER
