2. Multiantenna Wireless Architectures with Low Precision Converters
Sammanfattning : One of the main key technology enablers of the next generation of wireless communications is massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO), in which the number of antennas at the base station (BS) is scaled up to the order of tens or hundreds. It provides considerable energy and spectral efficiency by spatial multiplexing, which enables serving multiple user equipments (UEs) on the same time and frequency resource. LÄS MER
3. Individualiseringen och det fackliga kollektivet : En studie av industritjänstemäns förhållningssätt till facket
Sammanfattning : This dissertation is based on a research project focusing privately employed industrial white-collar workers in Gothenburg, Sweden. The project was initiated due to signs of changes in the way employees perceive and act in relation to the union. LÄS MER
4. Some concatenated and iterative decoding approaches for continuous phase modulation
Sammanfattning : Several concatenated and iterative decoding approaches are used toimprove the power efficiency of continuous phase modulation (CPM).First a symbol interleaver is used for serially concatenated CPM(SCCPM). Convergence of iterative decoding for this scheme can beearlier (lower SNR: Signal-to-Noise-Ratio) compared to bitinterleaved SCCPM. LÄS MER
5. Capacity of MIMO Dispersive Fading Channels and the Achievable Error Performance of OFDM Signals in Frequency Dispersive Fading Channels
Sammanfattning : Communication over a single-input single-output (SISO) and a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) dispersive fading channel were studied in the context of the ergodic Shannon channel capacity and the achievable error performance. A major contribution to the study is the equivalent SISO and MIMO vector channel models, derived from the corresponding waveform channel models, using a complete orthonormal and finite set of eigenfunctions to represent the waveform channel's output.
