    Sammanfattning : While previous research into understandings of climate change has usually examined general public perceptions and mainstream media representations, this thesis offers an audience-specific departure point by analysing climate change frames and frame formation in Swedish agriculture. 2. 2. A Changing Arctic Climate : Science and Policy in the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment

    Författare :Annika E. Nilsson; Björn-Ola Linnér; Sofie Storbjörk; Oran R. Young; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Arctic; climate; framing; knowledge production; regime; institution; actor network; co-production; indigenous knowledge; Arktis; klimat; kunskapsproduktion; regim; institution; aktörsnätverk; traditionell kunskap; INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH AREAS; TVÄRVETENSKAPLIGA FORSKNINGSOMRÅDEN;

    Sammanfattning : Climate change has often been framed as a global issue but slow progress in the global climate negotiations and an increasing need to plan for local adaptation have made it increasingly salient to also discuss the potential of other arenas for climate policy and knowledge production. This dissertation analyzes the interplay between science and policy at the international regional level based on a study of an assessment of the impacts of climate change in the Arctic. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Educative assessment for/of teacher competency. A study of assessment and learning in the "Interactive examination" for student teachers

    Författare :Anders Jönsson; Malmö högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; authentic assessment; formative assessment; learning; reliability; performance assessment; scoring rubrics; teacher education; validity; formativ bedömning; bedömningsmatriser; bedömning;

    Sammanfattning : Syftet med den här avhandlingen är att studera några av de problem som är förknippade med implementering av så kallad autentisk bedömning i lärarutbildningen. I den första delen av avhandlingen undersöks, genom en litteraturöversikt, huruvida användningen av bedömningsmatriser kan fungera som ett stöd för ökad tillförlitlighet och trovärdighet vid bedömning av komplexa kompetenser, samtidigt som matriserna även stöttar studenternas lärande. Sammanfattning : The times when malware was mostly written by curious teenagers are long gone. Nowadays, threats come from criminals, competitors, and government agencies. Some of them are very skilled and very targeted in their attacks. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Topics on Generative Models in Machine Learning

    Författare :Carl Ringqvist; Henrik Hult; Thomas Schön; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Latent variable models have been extensively studied within the field of machine learning in recent years. Especially in combination with neural networks and training through back propagation, they have proven successful for a variety of tasks; notably sample gener- ation, clustering, disentanglement and interpolation.
