  1. 1. Finite element simulation of transformation plasticity in martensitic transformation

    Författare :Kjell Simonsson; Sören Sjöström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Phase transformations. transformation plasticity; micromechanical models; martensitic transformation; finite element simulations. thermodynamics; moving interface; mechanical dissipation; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : This study is concerned with the simulation of transformation plasticity in martensitic transformation. In the first paper the concept of a transformation plasticity strain is introduced from a phenomenological point of view. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This Untethered Buffoon or the Trickster in Everything is a documented artistic research project (Doctoral Thesis) in Performative and Mediated Practices, comprising a series of excavations and vivisections of W(w)hiteness through clowning, making and thinging. This work/play traverses the fields of critical whiteness studies, performance and clowning, visual and cultural anthropology and decolonial critique. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Modeling of coupled thermoplasticity at finite strains

    Författare :Paul Håkansson; Hållfasthetslära; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mechanical engineering; hydraulics; vacuum technology; vibration and acoustic engineering; Maskinteknik; Heat generation; Phase transformation; Void growth; Thermoplasticity; hydraulik; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik; Crystal plasticity; Finite element;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, models for simulation of inelastic phenomena, such as plastic anisotropy, texture evolution, void growth and phase transformation are presented. Special emphasized is put on the modeling of heat generation due to plastic work. All models are formulated within a thermodynamic framework that allows large deformations. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Spinal Cord Processing of Sensory Information: Spatial Organization and Adaptive Mechanisms

    Författare :Anders Levinsson; Malmö Diagnostisk radiologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Neurologi; neurophysiology; neuropsychology; Neurology; transplantatioin; pain; sensorimotor; plasticity; reflex; neuropsykologi; neurofysiologi;

    Sammanfattning : Principles for sensorimotor transformation and plasticity in the spinal cord and functional repair in the root-avulsed spinal cord were studied. A comparative study confirmed that the nociceptive withdrawal reflex (NWR) system is composed of reflex modules, with each performing a finely tuned transformation of skin sensory input to activity in one muscle. 5. 5. Modeling of phase transformations and cyclic plasticity in pearlitic steels

    Författare :Björn Andersson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Phase transformations; TRIP; Pearlitic steel; FEM; Cyclic plasticity; Homogenization;

    Sammanfattning : The low rolling resistance in railway transportation is a key factor for its high efficiency, but it comes at the price of very high contact pressure between the rail and wheel. Due to the high stresses and the large number of load cycles during railway operation, both the rail and the wheel can be susceptible to fatigue crack initiation and propagation. LÄS MER
