Official regulation of programme content and curricula - the main empirical material - is interpreted, and focus is directed on aspects which distinguish between, among others, general and vocational elements of teaching, learning and training.     Sammanfattning : A sizeable portion of hazardous alcohol consumers are found in the workforce, suggesting that the workplace could provide opportunities for preventing and reducing hazardous alcohol use at an early stage. One such intervention is the multi-component alcohol prevention programme, ‘APMaT’ (Alcohol Policy and Managers’ skills Training), designed and delivered by Alna, an organisation that provides services to prevent harmful behaviours in Swedish workplaces.     Sammanfattning : The issues of the study are: How do the assistant principals face the work as school leaders? Which demands of competence do the new school leaders face? Which needs of competence development exist for new school leaders? In the school studied the organization of the management was changed from one principal and one director of studies to one principal and six assistant principals.
