    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis was to investigate the risk of second primary malignancies - with a special focus on lung cancer - in a cohort of approximately 152,000 Swedish women diagnosed with breast cancer between 1958 and 2000. Also older and sicker patients are often included in day case surgery programs, which puts an extra demand on good practice.
