    Författare :Ida Blomqvist; Eva Henje; Inga Dennhag; Anne Hammarström; Lotte Haverman; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Adolescent; classical test theory; computer adaptive testing; cross-sectional; differential item functioning; graded response model; item banks; item response theory; measurement invariance; mental health; Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System; Reynolds Adolescent Depression Scale second edition; self-report measures; time trends; barn- och ungdomspsykiatri; Child and Youth Psychiatry;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Studies of time trends of adolescent self-reported mental health suggest an increase of mental health symptoms globally. 3. 3. End stage renal disease in type 1 diabetes : time trends and risk factors

    Författare :Cecilia Toppe; Anna Möllsten; Gisela Dahlquist; Torild Skrivarhaug; Umeå universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : Background and aims: Sweden has a high incidence of type 1 diabetes (T1D) and the incidence is increasing worldwide. The incidence is now twice as high as when the registration of childhood onset T1D in Sweden started in 1977. One of the major risk factors for developing late complications such as renal failure (ESRD) is duration of T1D. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Treatment of cardiovascular risk factors in type 2 diabetes : time trends and clinical practice

    Författare :Eva Fhärm; Olov Rolandsson; Eva Johansson; Lars Weinehall; Carl-Johan Östgren; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :diabetes mellitus; cardiovascular disease; effectiveness; epidemiology; guideline adherence; primary health care; risk factor;

    Sammanfattning : Objectives Patients with type 2 diabetes are at much greater risk of developing cardiovascular diseases (CVD), including coronary heart disease (CHD), compared to non-diabetics. The lowering of glucose, blood pressure, and plasma lipid levels has been shown to reduce CHD risk, and treatment goals for these risk factors are now part of clinical practice guidelines. LÄS MER

    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Arctic; environmental; monitoring; pollution; time trends; spatial trends; Environmental chemistry; Miljökemi; Environmental Chemistry; miljökemi;

    Sammanfattning : The Arctic and sub-Arctic region of the North Atlantic is a remote area, also in relations to environmental contaminants, such as POPs, BFRs and last but not least, PFCs. Both the BFRs and PFCs are considered emerging pollutants of significant environmental concern. LÄS MER
