  2. 2. Collision Threshold Pressure : A novel measure of voice function Effects of vocal warm-up, vocal loading and resonance tube phonation in water

    Författare :Laura Enflo; Anita McAllister; Johan Sundberg; Marc de Bodt; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The phonation threshold pressure (PTP), i.e., the smallest amount of subglottal pressure needed to initiate and sustain vocal fold oscillation, is frequently difficult to measure due to the difficulty for some subjects to produce extremely soft phonation. In addition, PTP values are often quite scattered. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This study illuminates Scandinavian literature’s engagement with the fin de siècle as a momentous temporal threshold, when the widespread feeling of being poised on the brink of a distinctly modern age while at the same time witnessing the demise of the old world produced excitement as well as anxiety, a sense of loss and nostalgia. The dissertation explores how three male authors of the Scandinavian canon – Ola Hansson, August Strindberg and Knut Hamsun – depict the ambivalent experience of being torn between nostalgia and a heady sense of departure. Sammanfattning : Perimetric threshold examination is the most important method for diagnosing and monitoring patients with glaucoma. Such examination, however, is time-consuming and often difficult for the elderly patients in whom glaucoma is prevalent. Shorter test strategies have been proposed, but unfortunately also with lower test quality. LÄS MER
