    Sammanfattning : Editing by deamination of adenosine to inosine (A-to-I) in double-stranded RNA is a common event in the human transcriptome. Altered levels of the essential ADAR1 activity are associated with disease.     Sammanfattning : Spinocerebellar ataxia type 7 (SCA7) is an autosomal dominant neurodegenerative disorder caused by a CAG trinucleotide expansion in the SCA7 gene resulting in progressive ataxia and retinal dystrophy.
