3. Sagan om Unga Teatern i Malmö 1970-92
Sammanfattning : This dissertation investigates whether Unga Teatern, a theatre group for children and youth at Malmö City Theatre, had an aesthetic profile of its own. It focuses on three sections: the theme of fairy tales and myths under the artistic direction of Ronnie Hallgren (19977-83), his staging of English plays (1982 -84) and the avantgarde production for children and youth under the direction of Karin Parrot (1990-92). 4. Nordisk teater i Montevideo : Kontextrelaterad reception av Henrik Ibsen och August Strindberg
Sammanfattning : The primary purpose of this dissertation is to study the dialogue between the Scandinavian drama and the Uruguayan theatre; how drama from Scandinavia has been received in the Río de la Plata during the last hundred years; how it has been adapted and activated to be meaningful to the audience; how it has been integrated within the Uruguayan theatre and society and how the play changes with that new dialogue. As this is the first study of Scandinavian plays in Uruguay a secondary purpose is to document what has been put on stage; fifty-three productions, ninety percent of which were plays by Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg. 5. En ny generation lärostycken : Frågor till de införstådda
Sammanfattning : This dissertation proceeds from the learning play as a historical idea about a theatre produced in relation to a political movement. Through the participation in the collective creation of two theatre performances, Violence & Learning and Corpus & Punishment, it takes part in the learning about societal phenomena in an attempt to answer the question: How can I participate in the creation of a new generation of learning plays? One of the starting points is a critical approach to views that the audience is passive and needs to be activated, or uninformed and needs to be informed. LÄS MER
