    Sammanfattning : This study investigates movement as a phenomenon of constituting directedness in the Canadian writer Rudy Wiebe’s Mennonite novels. In Peace Shall Destroy Many (1962), in The Blue Mountains of China (1970), and in Sweeter Than All the World (2001), the phenomenon of movement is complexly at work as a decisive factor on numerous levels of constitution. Specifically, it investigates Key’s interest in Buddhism and Theosophy by drawing on recent scholarship on alternative and esoteric spiritual movements in the late 1800s to contextualize her ideas, demonstrating how Key's Life Faith was nourished by German idealism, Romanticism, and the so-called Oriental Renaissance.     Sammanfattning : Zoroastrianism, a religion originating in the ancient East and having survived to the present day, is currently being practiced on a very small scale throughout the whole world. Since the early 1990s there has been a gradually increasing public interest in Zoroastrianism in Russia and some of the former Soviet republics where small pockets of new non-ethnic Zoroastrians have sprung up.
