   Sammanfattning : This dissertation is a comparative and deconstructive study of the use of narrative exempla in the Revelations of Saint Birgitta (also known as Saint Bridget of Sweden) and in Swedish sermon collections from the Late Middle Ages. The purpose is to show how Birgitta during the 14th century and Swedish preachers during the 15th century morally educated their audiences through the inclusion of exemplary stories in their works.    Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with, magic, popular beliefs in the Witches Sabbath (in Sweden called Blåkulla), the witchcraft trials within the jurisdiction of Svea Circuit Court 1597–1720 and some aspects of the Great Northern Witch Craze of 1668–1677. The study examines the meanings of popular beliefs (folklore) in magic and Blåkulla and the actions, causes and events that actualised these beliefs. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with regulated prostitution in Stockholm around 1900. The regulation forced women who were regarded as loose to submit to medical examinations twice a weak, and to obey a separate set of rules. The prinicipal and outspoken purpose of this regulation was to restrain the spread of contagious venereal diseases. LÄS MER
