1. In situ observations of tin deposition into nanoporous anodic aluminium oxide
Sammanfattning : AbstractIn this thesis, the electrochemical deposition process of Sn into ordered nanoporous anodic aluminium oxide (NP-AAO) have been studied. The deposition process was studied in situ using the X-ray techniques: X-ray diffraction (XRD), Grazing incidence Transmission Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (GTSAXS), X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure (XANES) and ex situ using Focused Ion Beam-Scanning Electron Microscopy and Transmission Electron Microscopy measurements. 2. Large scale synthesis of polyesters with low amount of residual tin
3. Development and Implementation of Methods in Theoretical Chemistry
Sammanfattning : The method development research in the field of theoretical chemistry is the never ending quest for methods that are faster, gives more accurate results, and expands the possibilities. The work in this thesis is no exception to that statement. LÄS MER
4. Oxygen formation in the chlorate process and preparation and deactivation of ozone selective anodes
Sammanfattning : This thesis presents experimental studies concerning two differ-ent electrolytic processes. One part deals with the electrochemicalformation of ozone and focuses on the preparation and deactiva-tion of a highly ozone-selective metal oxide anode (NATO - nickeland antimony doped tin oxide). 5. Position Sensitive Detectors : Device Technology and Applications in Spectroscopy
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the development, processing and characterization of position sensitive detectors and, in addition, to the development of compact and cost effective spectrometers. Position sensitive detectors are used to measure, with great accuracy and speed, the position of a light spot incident on the surface. LÄS MER
