  1. 1. Designing for Intercorporeality : An Interaction Design Approach to Technology-Supported Movement Learning

    Författare :Laia Turmo Vidal; Annika Waern; Dag Svanæs; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Interaction Design; Movement Learning; Movement Teaching; Biofeedback; Wearables; Constructive Design Research; Research through Design; Practice Design; Soma Design; Technology Probes; Strong Concept; Movement Aesthetics; Människa-dator interaktion; Human-Computer Interaction;

    Sammanfattning : Technology-supported movement learning has emerged as an area with ample possibilities within Human Computer Interaction and Interaction Design, as interactive technology can help people to develop and improve sensorimotor competencies. To date, design research has largely focused on technology development and on supporting individual learning experiences. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Embodied Core Mechanics : Designing for movement-based co-located play

    Författare :Elena Márquez Segura; Annika Waern; Kristina Höök; Barry Brown; Helena Mentis; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Embodied core mechanics; embodied sketching; movement-based interaction; phenomenology; embodied interaction; play; play design; research through design; social play; co-located; movement; technology-supported; interactive toy; robot; playification; Människa-dator interaktion; Human-Computer Interaction;

    Sammanfattning : Movement-based interactive systems for play came into the spotlight over a decade ago, and were met with enthusiasm by the general public as well as the Human-Computer Interaction research community. Yet a decade of research and practice has not fully addressed the challenge of designing for the moving body and play. LÄS MER

  3. 3. ”Ska vi googla, fröken?” : Några förskollärares uppfattningar om undervisning relaterad till digitala tekniker i förskolan

    Författare :Olga Boksjö; Anna Ehrlin; Johannes Rytzler; Annika Åkerblom; Malin Nilsen; Mälardalens universitet; []

  4. 4. Distributed Technology-Sustained Pervasive Applications

    Författare :Kim J.L. Nevelsteen; Theo Kanter; Rahim Rahmani; Kåre Synnes; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; pervasive; games; engine; distributed; virtual; world; internet of things; Computer and Systems Sciences; data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Technology-sustained pervasive games, contrary to technology-supported pervasive games, can be understood as computer games interfacing with the physical world. Pervasive games are known to make use of ‘non-standard input devices’ and with the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT), pervasive applications can be expected to move beyond games. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Brandmannautbildning på distans, en het fråga : om utmaningar, motsättningar och förändringar vid implementering av distansutbildning

    Författare :Robert Holmgren; Ola Lindberg; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Firefighter training; online vocational training; learning processes; instructor roles; activity theory; contradictions; Brandmannautbildning; nätbaserad yrkesutbildning; lärprocesser; instruktörsroller; aktivitetsteori; kontradiktioner; pedagogik; Education;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years, distance courses combining online studies with physical meetings on campus have become increasingly common as an alternative to regular campus courses, even in vocational training programs with extensive practical skills components. This thesis is focused on the implementation of distance firefighter training in Sweden and the ways in which this intervention has affected training activities and participants, as well as on the impact that historical and contextual training aspects have had on the implementation process.
