   Sammanfattning : Föreliggande arbetes övergripande syfte är att visa på faktorer/begrepp viktiga för en motiverande grundskolemiljö med fokus på klassrummet då analysen baseras på läroplansmålsättningar. Mer differentierade och explicit uttryckta syften för detta arbete utgörs inledningsvis av att dels undersöka hur elever och skolledare uppfattar att skolan uppnått målen i läroplan för det obligatoriska skolväsendet (Utbildningsdepartementet, 1994), dels att utifrån Lpo 94 identifiera och analysera viktiga begrepp i skolmiljön och sedan granska dessa i en sambandsanalys.
