  1. 1. Individ och agentskap i strategiska processer : En syntetisk och handlingslogisk ansats

    Författare :Åke Gabrielsson; Margareta Paulsson; Maria Bengtsson; Maj-Britt Johansson Lindfors; Leif Melin; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Business and economics; Human agency; strategic actors; strategy formation; synthesis; action logic; individual; team; role constellation; process study; critical realism; way of thinking; strategic concepts of action; Ekonomi; Business and economics; Ekonomi; företagsekonomi; Business Studies;

    Sammanfattning : Even if strategy research often assumes that strategies are the result of intentional and purposeful behaviour the individual and human agency have tended to be neglected. Few empirical studies focus on how the individuals, their conceptions and actions interact with strategy formation. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Light-Triggered Conformational Switches for Modulation of Molecular Recognition : Applications for Peptidomimetics and Supramolecular Systems

    Författare :Magnus Blom; Adolf Gogoll; Morten Grötli; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Bisporphyrin tweezers; peptidomimetics; host-guest systems; conformational analysis; supramolecular chemistry; photochemistry; Organisk kemi; Organic Chemistry; Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry; Kemi med inriktning mot organisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : The main focus of this thesis is on photochemical modulation of molecular recognition in various host-guest systems. This involves the design, synthesis and integration of light-triggered conformational switches into peptidomimetic guests and molecular tweezer hosts. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Iridium Catalysed Asymmetric Hydrogenation of Pyridines

    Författare :Alban Cadu; Pher G. Andersson; Hans Adolfsson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; hydrogenation; pyridine; catalytic; Iridium; Organisk kemi; Organic Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents the hydrogenation of substituted pyridines using N,P-ligated iridium catalystsin homogeneous media. These iridium catalysts were developed within this research group in thepast decade. This method of hydrogenation is highly stereoselective, and in several cases good to excellent ees were obtained. 4. 4. Noble Metal Catalysed Reductions and Rearrangements

    Författare :Alban Cadu; Joseph Samec; Anne Fiksdahl; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry; Kemi med inriktning mot organisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : The focus of this thesis has been organometallic catalysis applied to compounds containing heteroatoms which are usually poisonous to metal catalysts, by channelling their innate reactivity advantageously. The studies described in this thesis concentrate, in the first part, on iridium catalysed asymmetric hydrogenation (papers I and II) and in the second part, on gold catalysed internal rearrangements (papers III and IV). 5. 5. From Peak to Peak: Exploring Electron Hopping and Mass Transport in Metal-Organic Frameworks

    Författare :Ashleigh T. Castner; Sascha Ott; Deanna M. D'Alessandro; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; charge transport; mass transport; metal-organic frameworks; electrocatalytic materials; electrochemistry; Kemi; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Incorporating molecular electrocatalysts into solid support structures combines the best of two worlds: their molecular nature allows precise structural tunability for selective and efficient conversion of small molecule substrates, while their structural integrity is greatly improved by the heterogeneous support matrix to allow for long-term stability and potentially industrial-scale applications. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) represent a potential class of materials to act as viable support scaffolds for hosting molecular catalysts for sustainable energy conversion, exhibiting well-ordered porous structures that can support high loading densities of catalyst species.
